Story Time

The Talkeetna Library offers Story Time,

with stories and crafts

  for children ages 3-5

 on Thursday's between 12:45 and 1:45 pm.

February 4:  Little house on the Prairie Day, celebrating Laura Ingalls Wilder's Birthday.  We'll make miniature covered wagons.  Please bring a small milk carton and milk jug lids.

February 11:  Valentine's Day is coming up.  Let's get ready.

February 18:  President's Day.  We'll make a Lucky Penny pin and pendant.

February 25:  Chinese lantern festival.  This is the year of the Tiger.

March 4:  Iditarod starts on Saturday.  We'll learn about sled dogs.

March 11:  Spring is coming, and so is St Patrick's Day.  We'll grow hair on our leprechaun.

March 18:  The Talkeetna Library's birthday is march 17.  Celebrate Libraries and Birthdays today.

March 25:  March is National Noodle month.  We'll make a noodle necklace.
